Q.

Are there any fees involved with using the access program?

A.

Yes, there is a $25 application-processing fee that must be brought to the intake interview.

Also, there is a yearly user fee that is set according to your income. If you make more than $15,000 a year, the fee is $100 per year. If you are getting employment insurance, the fee is $50 per year. If you are on social assistance or ODSP, the fee is $25 per year. The program will waive fees for those living in shelters.  It is essential that proof of income is shown at the Intake appointment.

You must pay the yearly user fee before your first visit. After the first payment, you must pay the user fee again each December for as long as you use our service. Each party should pay his or her own fees unless the court order states otherwise. If the court has not said who is to pay the fees and one party refuses to pay, then our program will ask if the other party is able or willing to pay the full fee.
