Before sending a summons, lawyers must contact APCO to determine whether the summoned staff member will be available on the day that court is in session. We urge lawyers to please take our staff’s time into consideration when booking a court date in order to avoid staff members spending the entire day waiting at the courthouse. Please provide staff with a specific timeframe when they will be needed so APCO can make appropriate arrangements.
Summons must be served in person with the appropriate conduct fee. Please note that once summons fees are paid they are non-refundable, regardless of whether the court session takes place.
