What needs to be included in the court order?
The court order must clarify all terms and conditions of parenting time, such as:
- full names of all parties involved, including the full name and date of birth of the child(ren) involved,
- type of parenting time [i.e. Supervised or Unsupervised (Exchange)],
- frequency of parenting time (i.e. weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.),
- specific pick-up and drop-off days/times for unsupervised parenting time (exchanges),
- who is responsible for covering service costs.
