Note:

  • For Supervised Parenting Time the court order must specify the frequency of Supervised Parenting Time. Currently, our program can only offer a maximum visit length of one hour.
  • Visit time slots will be determined by the Parenting Centre. Therefore, it is best if the court order does not indicate a specific time slot.
  • If there is a waiting list for our weekend services, clients will be given the option of using our weekday services until there is weekend availability.

Notes:

  • For Virtual Parenting Time, APCO requires a court order specifying that visits are to be held virtually.
  • All Virtual Parenting Time will take place for 15-minutes only.
  • APCO will not provide Virtual Parenting Time for cases where the restraining order prohibits parties from having direct or indirect contact with each other.

Virtual Parenting Time will also be provided in situations where:

  • One of the parties is outside of the province/country.
  • One of the parties has medical/special needs and it is agreed upon by all parties that a support worker can be present during virtual visits.
  • One of the parties is incarcerated and it is agreed upon by both parties that a law enforcement officer can be present during virtual visits.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please be advised that if our program has deemed it necessary to cancel visits due to severe weather conditions or other emergency situations, we will do so by announcing changes on our center’s voicemail.

We kindly ask everyone that in emergency situations (extreme cold or hot weather alerts, snow storms, regional power outages and public health and safety quarantines) please call the access centre’s cell phone prior to leaving your homes to get the alerts you need.
