Summons Procedure

Before sending a summons, lawyers should please contact APCO to determine whether the summoned staff member will be available on the day that court is in session. We urge attorneys to please take our staff’s time into consideration when booking a court date. APCO is a not-for-profit agency and financially is unable to allow staff members to spend the entire day waiting at the courthouse. Please provide staff with a specific time when she or he will be needed so APCO can make appropriate arrangements.

Summons must be served in person with the appropriate conduct fee. Please note that once summons fees are paid they are non-refundable, regardless of whether the court session takes place.
