For Virtual Parenting Time, APCO requires a court order specifying that visits are to be held virtually
All Virtual Parenting Time will take place for 15 minutes.
APCO will not provide Virtual Parenting Time for cases where the restraining order prohibits parties from having direct or indirect contact with each other.
Virtual Parenting Time will also be provided in situations where:
1. One of the parties is outside of the province/country.
2. One of the parties has medical/special needs and it is agreed upon by all parties that the support staff can be present.
3. One of the parties is incarcerated and it is agreed upon by both parties that a law enforcement officer can be present.
NOTE: All in-person visits/exchanges will switch to Virtual should our Parenting Centre be closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
